Medical Weight Loss

People with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher are considered obese. The term "obesity" is defined simply as too much body fat.

Nearly 70% of American adults are either overweight or obese. Obesity increases you're risk for health problems, including high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol and type 2 diabetes. It's also a major cause of gallstones, osteoarthritis and respiratory problems

Losing weight (lowering your BMI) can mean that your body more efficiently circulates blood, your fluid levels are more easily managed, you have more energy, you have less joint pain, and you are less likely to develop diabetes, heart disease, certain cancers and sleep apnea. Losing just a few pounds can provide you with cardiovascular benefits!

CVMA's Weight Loss Package

CVMA offers a medically supervised, ketogenic weight loss program to help you lose weight in a healthy and controlled way.

Our 12 week program includes low-calorie, low carbohydrate meal replacements, blood-work, vital checks, and weekly weigh-ins by a medical professional. Patients experience weight loss of 3-5 lbs per week. The program can be tailored to people with diabetes and food allergies.

  • PHASE 1: ADAPTION, which gives your body time to adapt to the diet restrictions and physical demands of the program
  • PHASE 2: WEIGHT LOSS, which is supposed to occur drastically during this phase
  • PHASE 3: REFEEDING, which teaches you how to make healthier food choices
  • PHASE 4: MAINTENANCE, which is designed to educate you on how to keep the weight off after the program ends.
